Coroplast

Coroplast® corrugated plastic is a registered trademark of Coroplast LLC. Coroplast® corrugated plastic  is a colorfast, lightweight hollow structure, non-toxic, waterproof plastic.  Think of corrugated cardboard, but made from plastic instead. Colorplast® is ideal for indoor and outdoor graphic applications with a long lifespan. It is a corrosion preventive material. It is tougher than corrugated fiberboard, lighter than solid extruded plastic, and stain resistant.

The Science behind Coroplast® Corrugated Plastic

Coroplast is a high quality polypropylene twin-wall profile sheet. The composition can be altered with anti-static conductive masterbatch. This particular masterbatch produces a conductive, anti-static plastic hollow board sheet. (Conductive plate surface resistivity can be controlled between 103 ~ 105; anti-static sheet surface resistivity can be controlled between 106 ~ 1011).

 Applications

Because Coroplast® corrugated plastic is light and inexpensive it is ideal for indoor/outdoor advertising signage and billboards. It is commonly used for electronics, packaging, pharmaceuticals, household appliances, and in the medical and health industry. The most common uses are crates, packaging boxes and screen printing. Coroplast® is the material of choice for the screen printing industry.
